How Heidi found her Bliss

The idea of Bliss wasn't even on my radar. Some would say my life has been pretty unblissful as a survivor of breast cancer, domestic violence, and suicide by a loved one.

In Fall of 2021, I had just completed a self-imposed sabbatical when someone asked me to describe my own moment of bliss. I didn't have an immediate answer but could sense something was coming my way. Later that night, waves of clarity and inspiration washed over me. Others say I was glowing. But I felt like I was floating. All I knew was that I had to do something bigger with my life.

In the days that followed, I continued to experience waves of unbridled joy and creativity that quite literally woke me from a deep sleep every night. What was this feeling? What was I supposed to do with the energy it was creating in my life?  And most importantly - how could I hold onto this feeling of happiness, joy and fulfillment?

I spent months researching this elusive state  as a trained sociologist and market researcher. Not surprisingly, bliss means different things to everyone, and finding and maintaining bliss in our lives is just as unique. The overwhelming amount of books, online courses, and spiritual gurus or coaches left my head spinning with possibilities.

So that is when it all started...read more here about the vision, mission and values at the foundation of Blissometer and how we hope it will help fellow seekers achieve greater Bliss.
